Lodging on Lake Winnisquam, NH - The Phillips House and Cottages

Looking for a different experience this summer visit The Canterbury Shaker Village in Canterbury, NH. It is a historic site, founded in 1969, to preserve the heritage of the Shakers of Canterbury. The Village consists of 25 original buildings, three reconstructed buildings and 694 acres of forests, fields, gardens and mill ponds. Tours range from 30 minutes to an hour long and explore various aspects of Shaker life and history. It is located less than a 20 minute drive from our cottages. It's a great day out for children and adults.
